Section 1.3 Software Installation

Step 1: Download the version that corresponds to your OS and Java version. For windows users the 32 bit version is a good choice if you do not know your Java version.

Step 2: Unzip the folder and copy it to the location of your choice, IE Desktop, Documents ect.

Step 3 Windows: Inside the folder you should see a file named IFWCommander.exe, run that file. If you do not have Java installed you will be directed to do so.

Step 3 Mac or Linux:  Inside the folder you should see a file named Release.jar, double click on that file. If you do not have Java installed it will not run.

Step 4 The program should launch (it may take a few seconds) If it does not look at the troubleshooting section. you can link a shortcut (In windows right click and select create shortcut) but DO NOT REMOVE the jar or exe from the main folder.
