System requirements

FocusLock has been tested on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. However Windows XP is no longer officially supported.

System Requirements:

• Microsoft .net platform 4.5.

• ASCOM Platform 6.1.

• If you wish to use the MaxIm integration:
• MaxIm version 5 or higher.

• If you wish to use TheSkyX integration:
• TheSkyX with camera integration.

• If you wish to use ASCOM integration:
• The Optec ASCOM Server.

• If you wish to use PHD 2 integration:
• PHD 2 version 2.50 dev1.

Notice: MaxIm and the TheSkyX integrations may not be functional with all versions of MaxIm and the TheSkyX.

Hardware Requirements:

FocusLock was designed to operate with Windows 7. If your computer can run this OS you should be able to run FocusLock. If you suffer from performance issues try reducing the size of your guider image.

Note, if you use the Optec ASCOM server it is best to sub frame the guide image to less then 100x100 px to avoid having too much data throughput.

You will also need an On Axis Guider (ONAG) from Innovations Foresight.

This manual assumes that you have read the ONAG user manual and are familiar with the proper use of the ONAG.
