Laser Engraving And Cutting
Optec owns and operates a Versa Laser system for engraving and cutting. However, this machine is very under-utilized, as its speed and sophistication allows it to accomplish all tasks for which Optec needs it in short order. Therefore, our excess capacity with this technology may benefit your company if you need engraving and/or cutting services. We can import your AutoCAD drawing and be up and running in a very short time.
The Versa LASER system can cut a wide range of plastic, wood and composite materials with exceptional accuracy and speed. These 66 small oval diffusers measuring about " by 0.5" were cut from 1/8-inch thick opal acrylic in less than 10 minutes. If you do not have AutoCAD capability, we can create a drawing profile from your specifications. The size of the machine allows us to handle up to 12 x 16 inch material.
Aluminum anodized surfaces can be marked with any design and lettering for product identification. Both flat and round surfaces can be marked. Click on the image to the left for a larger view.
