What is the Pyxis LE Control Program?

Thank you for installing the Pyxis LE control program. The control program is a stand-alone Windows program designed for testing, setting parameters, and operating the Optec Pyxis LE Camera Field Rotator (CFR). The latest version of this program will only communicate with and control the Pyxis LE. This excludes the original Pyxis and the larger Pyxis 3-inch.

ASCOM Compliance

Optec has also developed ASCOM drivers for the Pyxis LE that allows the rotator to be used with other ASCOM-compliant software. Visit the Optec download page to obtain the latest Pyxis LE ASCOM drivers.

ASCOM Compatibility

The FocusLynx software package includes an ASCOM-compatible driver. Therefore, the FocusLynx focuser hub is usable with any ASCOM-compliant software. Note: This manual documents only the FocusLynx focuser hub and control software. No other ASCOM-compliant programs will be discussed here.
