Cannot Connect
"Cannot Connect"
Connection problems can be caused by several factors. Go through the check list below if you have having troubles.
- Make sure the serial cable is securely attached to your focuser or focuser hand control box. Also check that the cable itself is not damaged.
- Make sure that your focuser has power. If you have a model that has a hand control box you should see the red digital display and LED light up when the power switch is set to ON. If you are using one the the TCF-Si focusers (without a hand-control box) you should see the red power indicator LED illuminated when the power cable is connected.
- Verify that you selected the correct serial COM port in the driver setup dialog.
- Verify that the temperature probe is securely attached to the focuser/hand-control box. If it is not the setup dialog will not be able to connect the device.
